Accreditation and Membership of Criteria

A National Council for Accreditation of Education and Therapies is an registered Autonomous Body Executive Council. It aims to promote VOCATIONAL & TECHNICAL EDUCATION.

The vocational training will be organized in the areas to support the unemployed persons to seek job opportunities or to start help employment project to sustain with the permanent income. This scheme will support the unemployed person to free from various anti-social activities as well as to keep them in peace with a useful occupation.

Vocational education is education that prepares people to work in a trade, in a craft, as a technician, or in support roles in professions such as Psychology, Agriculture, Technology, Travel and Tourism, Shipping, Aviation, Business and Commerce, Computer Science, IT, Teacher Training and Library Science amongst others. Craft vocations are usually based on manual or practical activities and are traditionally non-academic but related to a specific trade or occupation.

Vocational education is sometimes referred to as career education or technical education. Vocational education can take place at the secondary, post-secondary, further education, and higher education level; and can interact with the apprenticeship system. At the post-secondary level, vocational education is often provided by highly specialized institutions.

PROCEDURES FOR STUDY CENTRES

• Trust/Society/Individual seeking permission to start institute should apply in the prescribed application form with all necessary enclosures. Application can be printed from the website www.ncaet.org

• Shifting of the existing institute premises should not be done without the consent of NCAET Programme Office.

• Approval is purely valid for that premises only. Any shifting should be made only before the commencement of the concerned academic year without affecting the students of the institute for shifting, separate application should be obtained from NCAET Programme Office, submitted with necessary fee.

• The NCAET Courses offered in the institution should be a full time courses. If the management wants to run part time / online courses, special permission should be obtained from NCAET Programme Office.

• The Following Titles are not allowed in the Institute's Name.

• Institute which run other Certificate, Diploma or Degree Courses should not award any certificate merging the same with the NCAET Courses available in the institute.

• The class room/practical work shop should be in the R.C Building/Building with Asbestos roof and it should have adequate space.

• Adequate toilet and urinal/water facilities should be provided.

• Proper and adequate ventilation, lighting should be provided for theory and practical class rooms.

• Any advertisement using Govt. of India Emblem, giving false information to public without the consent of the NCAET is punishable. If it is so, It will lead to cancellation of the approval of the institute.
